Welcome,
Thank you so much for considering me to photograph your wedding day. I know how important it is to choose the right photographer for you and I’m here to talk you through everything you need to know and answer any questions you may have. I am so excited you are here!
In this guide you will find information about me, my process and what to expect, as well as lots of useful tips to get the absolute best out of your day.

My Approach
I work in a way that’s relaxed and unobtrusive and I go with the flow of your day. I never force a moment and I’m not about overly posed photos. I’m obsessed with documenting images full of emotion and capturing those organic connections between yourself and your loved ones. My goal is to make sure your experience with me is as fun as possible. I’ll put you at ease, and make you feel confident and relaxed whilst capturing those in between moments that make you two, you.

The Experience
It’s more than just the photography, I want you to feel taken care of and at ease throughout the entire process of working with me. I pride myself in creating a real bond with my couples, which means that you are able to feel truly comfortable in front of the lens. On the day you can be safe in the knowledge that whilst you’re having the time of your life, I am quietly capturing your story in the most beautiful way possible.
The Process
01. Enquire
Take a look at my website and insta to get a feel of my style and approach. If you like what you see, get in touch! Once you've filled in my contact form, I'll pop you an email to let you know if I’m available on your date. I'm always happy to schedule in some time if you want to talk through your plans and ask me any questions you may have.
02. Booking
Once you’ve reached out and we’ve had a chat, if you have decided to go ahead and book me (yay!) all that's needed to secure your date is a signed contract and a deposit. Once I've received these, you can sit back and relax because you’re all booked in! Feel free to drop me a message at any time if you want to talk to me about things you’ve planned or need any advice or recommendations.
03. One month out
Around this time I will send a questionnaire for you to fill out, this will cover all the details of your wedding including logistics and timeline to make sure I have all of the information I need to make sure your day runs smoothly. This is when you will also receive an invoice for the final balance.
04. Your Wedding Day
It’s finally here! Time to celebrate and enjoy everything you’ve planned for for so many months while I capture every moment of your day as it unfolds.
I'll send you sneak peaks within 48 hours after your day to keep you going until your full online gallery is completed within 6 weeks.
The Timeline
Getting Ready
I’ll get to you two hours before your ceremony to capture all of the excitement of your wedding morning. I’ll be shooting the details like your dress, shoes and jewellery, along side candids of you and your bridesmaids getting ready, the laughter and the excitement, and of course the best moment of all - you in your dress! The biggest thing to consider for the morning prep is where you are getting ready. Natural light is really important for creating beautiful images so try and choose somewhere with a big open space and lots of windows.
The Ceremony
During the ceremony I’ll be as unobtrusive as possible. This part of your day is all about the two of you and I’m there to capture all of those beautiful emotions. If you have chosen to have a second photographer you will find me at the front and my second at the back, this way we capture everything with no angle missed.
Group Shots
Although my style is more natural and documentary, I totally appreciate that this is the one day where all your family, friends and loved ones are in the one place at the same time and its important to capture those memories. Ahead of your day I will ask you for a list of formal shots, I generally recommend keeping the number of combinations to eight or less but I understand every family is unique and requires different groupings, so give me a list of what’s important and I’ll make it happen.
Couple Portraits
This is your time. It’s an opportunity for you to escape for a short while and spend a little time together. This is often the first chance you get to really chat after the ceremony and let it all sink in that you are officially married! I will whisk you away twice on your wedding day, once during your drinks reception after you’ve had a chance to see all your friends and family, and the other at my absolute favourite time of day - golden hour. I’ll only take you off for around 15 minutes at a time, and I like to keep things very natural. We’ll go for a wander around your venue and the surroundings, I’ll capture your time together, nothing formal, just you both in the moment and the connection between you. I’ll have scouted out the venue prior to arriving to you so will take you to all the best spots to capture some epic photos.
Details & Candids
Throughout your day I will be paying close attention to everything that is unfolding around me. I often find the shots everyone loves most are the natural, unplanned photos that happened when they didn't even notice the camera was there. These are the images that capture the real you, the relationships behind the scenes, the natural, unscripted moments. I will also be capturing the room, the flowers, the cake and everything else you have picked out to style your day and make it special. Photographs of the details may not be the most important part of your day, but these are all things you’ve spent months choosing, designing and planning and they deserve their rightful place in your gallery.
Golden Hour
The final hour before sunset known as ‘golden hour’ is my absolute favourite time of day to shoot and when I will always recommend you pop out with me for your couple shots. It’s when the light is warm and soft and makes your images glow. All we need is 10-15 minutes to make some magic, I promise it’s worth it.

Tips & Extras
Confetti
Quantity over quality
You can never have too much confetti! You want your guests to fill their hands to the brim so that when you’re walking down that tunnel you’re completely showered in petals.
Best in photos
The bigger, the better. I always recommend the large paper confetti circles as the best for photos. The tiny, real dried flower petals may look beautiful in a basket at your reception, but they don’t show up as well in photos and drop much quicker than paper does.
Don’t bother with bags or cones
I’ll ask your guests to throw the confetti up. This means it falls nicely in your pictures and doesn’t end up with one of you being blinded or squinting. Bags and cones can be distracting and aren’t the easiest to throw - I always suggest one big basket that everyone can take a handful from.
Unplugged Ceremony
You may have stumbled across the phrase “unplugged ceremony” whilst wedding planning. This essentially means asking all of your guests to put away any phones or cameras and have a device free ceremony. When you get married you want your friends and family to be in the moment with you, when you turn around you want to see their faces not their phones, you want to share in the emotion they are feeling on your special day. It’s my job as your photographer to capture their smiles and those tears of joy and excitement, which won’t be possible if their phones are hiding their faces, or worse, if someone leans out into the aisle when I’m getting those all important shots.
Optional Extras
Engagement Shoot
£300
Engagement sessions are the perfect way for us to meet and get to know each other and to talk about the plans for your day while getting comfortable in front of the camera. They are an amazing opportunity to capture you guys as a couple, doing your thing and being yourselves.
Second Shooter
£350
A second photographer is always a good option if your guest list is over 80 people. It adds a different perspective and allows us to capture all of your friends and family. Ultimately I can’t be in two places at once, so if your bridal prep and groom prep are at different locations, you might want to think of adding a second photographer on.

FAQ
-
I’ll arrive two hours before your ceremony for bridal/groom prep, and I’ll leave approximately an hour after your first dance. This timescale ensures that you get plenty of dancing photos of yourself with your guests before my coverage comes to a natural end.
-
Of course! I love getting involved with the planning of your day, if you’d like me to send an example timeline to help build your day just drop me a note and we can go from there.
-
If your new date is open on my calendar, I'd of course be happy to switch it for you with no extra charge. However, if I am already booked for that day, we can discuss having an associate photographer shoot your wedding so that I can still curate and edit your wedding photos, or if you prefer, I can pull together a list of referrals for you to find another photographer that will be a good match.
-
All of your high res digital images will be delivered through a beautifully curated online gallery which you are able to download straight to your computer or save to your phone and can share with friends and family.
