Jess & George’s Unforgettable Syrencot Wedding

A Dream September Wedding at Syrencot

There are weddings that stay with you long after the last dance, and Jess & George’s September celebration at Syrencot Wedding Venue is undoubtedly one of those days. The September sunshine cast a soft, golden glow that was the dreamiest light I’d witnessed all season which may have all been down to Jess burying a cocktail sausage the night before (hilarious but brilliant). Every detail, from the delicate soft-pink colour palette to the boys in black tie perfectly complemented the romantic, joyful energy that Jess and George brought with them. As a Hampshire and Wiltshire wedding photographer, I can honestly say this was a day overflowing with pure love, laughter, and emotion from start to finish and one I’ll remember forever.

The Joyful Start: Excitement and Smiles

From the moment I arrived, the excitement was electric. Jess and George just couldn’t wait to marry each other. Jess didn’t stop smiling all day, her happiness was genuinely contagious! There’s nothing quite like walking into bridal prep on the morning of a wedding and instantly feeling that joyful, buzzing atmospher, it sets the tone for the entire day and is a wedding photographers dream.

An Emotional Ceremony at Syrencot

The ceremony itself was personal, emotional, and really beautiful. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house as these two said their vows. With an outdoor ceremony, the soft September sunshine bathed Syrencot’s stunning grounds in a dreamy glow.

It’s all about a fun Bridal Party

Jess and George’s bridal party were an absolute dream to photograph! I always want the bridal party shots to be fun, energetic and full of everyone’s personality and connection to the couple and these guys did not dissapoint. They were up for anything, throwing George in the air, hyping Jess & George up the whole time - the dream. This is what your wedding day should always be about, being fully immersed in the moment and having FUN.

Champagne Spray Chaos

As golden hour hit, I grabbed the bridal party for a group champagne spray shot in the evening glow, what followed quickly turned into pure chaos! George ended up slinging the champagne bottle back, sending fizz flying everywhere and completely drenching all the girls. Everyone was laughing so hard it made for some of the most fun, genuine photos of the day.

Capturing Love: A Hampshire & Wiltshire Wedding Photographer’s Perspective

Capturing their love story through the lens was an absolute joy. Their day was filled with emotion, laughter, and those small, unforgettable moments that make a wedding truly special. It was a stunning day for a gorgeous couple, admittedly one of my favourite weddings of the year and a true highlight for me as a wedding photographer in Hampshire and Wiltshire.

Planning Your Syrencot Wedding

If you’re planning your own Syrencot wedding, take a cue from Jess & George: focus on the love, embrace the joy, and let the sunshine (and maybe a cheeky old wives’ tale) work its magic.
